CBSE NET Syllabus 2017

Syllabus of UGC NET Test : All questions of Paper – II and Paper – III will be compulsory, covering entire syllabus ( including all electives, without options ).

Syllabi for all NET subjects can be downloaded from the UGC Website www.ugc.ac.in and are also available in the libraries of all Indian Universities. CBSE will not send the syllabus to individual candidates.

*The candidates with Master’s Degree in Geography ( with specialization in Population Studies ) or Mathematics / Statistics are also eligible to appear in the subject “Population Studies” ( Code 15 )

**The candidates with Master’s Degree in Humanities ( including languages ) and Social Sciences are eligible to appear in subject ‘Women Studies’ ( Code 74 ).

    andidates who have secured at least 55% marks (without rounding off) in Master’s Degree OR equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognised by UGC in Humanities (including languages) and Social Sciences, Computer Science & Applications, Electronic Science etc. are eligible for this Test.

    The Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST)/Physically Handicapped (PH)/Visually Handicapped (VH) category candidates who have secured at least 50% marks (without rounding off) in Master’s degree or equivalent examination are eligible for this Test.

  27. •sir,i m a post graduate in commerce (MCOM)2004 ,but my percentage was not 55%.I pursued MBA(finance) from Sikkim manipal University and now i m in my last sem AVERAGE 80%.I have filled dec 2012 net exam form.I WANT TO KNOW BEING eligible(i.e. 55%)via management mba degree can i opt for SUBJECT COMMERCE code 08 instead of MANAGEMENT code -17 plz i m running out of time to submit my form so please help and confirm me-manish

    the eligibility for ugc net is a master’s degree or ewuivalent. i have done my m..b.a. from graphic era college,dehradun with 67% marks in human resource management. kindly tell me that will MBA in HR be considered equivalent to m.com degree for me to be eligible for ugc net in commerce??

  39. I have completed MA (English) from Pune University with 2nd Division (52% marks). However, I have filled up the exam form for improvement scheduled to be held in May 2012. Since the notification allows a person to appear in the NET exam, if the persons is appearing, please guide me which certificates/Degree should I send to the UGC Net Exam Centre. Also intimate how many chances one can avail for lectureship.

    UGC National Eligibility Test June 2012 Syllabus

    iii) Syllabus of UGC NET Test 2012 : Syllabi for all NET subjects can be downloaded from the UGC website : http://www.ugc.ac.in and are also available in the libraries of all Indian Universities. UGC will not send the syllabus to individual candidates.

    iv) In UGC NET Paper III, candidate has the option to answer either in Hindi or in English in all subjects except the languages where the candidate is required to write in the concerned language only.
