TNPSC Village Administrative Officer (VAO) Examination Application Form:

Cost of application form is Rs.30/- (Rupees Thirty only) for all candidates. Candidates should use only the OMR (revised) application forms purchased either from the Post Offices or from the sales counter of the Commission's office. No other typed or printed or Xeroxed / Photocopy of the application form will be accepted and such application if any received will be summarily rejected.

Candidates can also avail themselves of the facility of applying 'Online' on the Commission's Website www.tnpsc.org or at www.tn.gov.in/tnpsconline (Cost of Application and Examination Fee Rs.30+75=Rs.105).

Candidates should possess and keep ready Postal receipt for Rs.105/- obtained from any one of the Post Offices listed in Annexure-III to the Brochure before Registering Online. Candidates claiming exemption from payment of Examination fee should possess and keep ready Postal receipt for Rs.30/- towards the cost of application. The Postal receipt obtained for the payment of cost of application / Examination Fee should be pasted in the space provided in the application.

Candidates applying through Online shall abide by the Commission's instructions laid down in this Notification/Advertisement/Commission's "Instructions, etc., to candidates"/Brochure. Candidates applying Online should send the applications along with attested copies of Certificates so as to reach the Commission's office on or before the last date for receipt of applications failing which, his/her application will be rejected. The facility of applying online will be closed on 30-01-2007 at 5.45.p.m.

Issue Of TNPSC Village Administrative Officer (VAO) Examination Application Forms:-

The OMR (revised) application form, along with an INFORMATION BROCHURE containing General Instructions for filling up the application form, Commission's "Instructions, etc. to candidates", Format for exercising District Option and an envelope for sending the application can be obtained from any one of the HEAD POST OFFICES in Tamil Nadu or from the Head Post Office Puducherry or from the Post Office at Lalgudi or Virudhachalam on payment of Rs.30/- (Rupees Thirty only). (The list showing the names of Post Offices is also available in the Commission's Website www.tnpsc.org ).

The application forms can also be obtained in person from the sales counter of the office of the "Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission, Omanthoorar Government Estate, Anna Salai, Chennai - 600 002," till 5.15 p.m. on the closing date without lunch interval, on requisition in writing either in Tamil or in English specifying the name of the Post and Advertisement number with a Crossed Indian Postal Order or Crossed Account Payee Demand Draft to the value of Rs.30/- (Rupees Thirty only) obtained on or after 01-12-2006. The application forms will not be sent to the candidates by post.

The Crossed Indian Postal Orders should be drawn in favour of the Secretary, Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission, Chennai - 600 002 payable at the "Anna Salai Post Office, Chennai - 600 002." The Crossed Account Payee Demand Draft obtained from any branch of the State Bank of India should be payable to the above authority at the "State Bank of India, Service Branch (8443) Chennai." If it has been obtained from any other Bank, it should be payable to the above authority, Chennai.
