ILI LLM Admission Procedure 2021

ILI Application form is to be filled by the candidates for admission to LL.M. – One Year Programme. However, there will be an All India Common Admission Test ( CAT ) for both the programmes.

Master of Laws (L.L.M.) – One year Programme

The Appplicat  Applying for LL.M one year programme can submit the application form either online mode or offline mode.

For online mode application, the application needs to visit the institute website www.ili.ac.in and can follow the link Admission 2021 to proceed further for filling / submitting the online application form. All the relevant instructions / information concerned to procedure of application form is displayed on the admission 2021 webpage. A helpline contact details and email id is also mentioned on the webpage to get online or telephone support.

In case of online submission of application form or downloaded from the website, the application is required to pay the of ₹ 2,500/- ( Rupees two thousand five hundred ) only  towards processing  fee through net banking / Debit / Credit card and Demand Draft.

For offline mode, the application can purchase the form from the Institute’s counter or can download the form given in prospectus from the website. The application form completed in the respects with research plan should be submitted in person or by Registered Post / Speed Post / Courier / Messenger so as to reach  the Registrar, Indian Law Institute, Bhagwan Das Road, New Delhi 110 001

In case of application purchased from the counter of ₹1,000/-, the applicant is required to pay a Demand Draft ₹1,500/- ( Rupees on thousand five hundred ) only along with the form towards processing fee. for details please see the website of the Institutewww.ili.ac.in.

The All India Admission Test for admission to LL.M one year Programme to be conducted by the Indian Institute with the objective of Testing Aptitude for Research, Legal Reasoning and Comprehensions and Basic Knowledge in different branches of Law and will be help  in the Indian Institute, New Delhi from 3.00 pm to 5.30 pm. the shortlist candidates will be called for Viva – Voce. The components and weightage of marks of admission finalized by the Academic Council are as under

Admission to LL.M one year programme shall be made according to merit prepared on the basis of the marks obtained by the candidates in the All Indian Admission Test to be held and performance during Viva – Voce to  be conducted by the institute after all india Admission Test.

ILI Admission to LL.M. programmes shall be made on merit based on the marks obtained by the candidates in the All India Common Admission Test to be held and performance during Viva-Voce to be conducted by the Institute after Common Admission Test and marks obtained in the “Statement of Purpose” attached by the candidate alongwith the application form.

Viva-Voce

Candidates will be shortlisted based on the marks obtained by them in the All India Common Admission Test and shall be called for viva-voce to be conducted at the Indian Law Institute, New Delhi. List will be notified on the website of the Institute. No separate communication would be sent.

Final merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained by the candidates in All India Common Admission Test, viva-voce and marks obtained on the Statement of Purpose attached with application i.e., out of maximum of 200 marks. Merit list will be drawn for LL.M. – One Year Programme. Viva-voce is an integral part of the selection process. If a candidate called for viva-voce does not appear for the same, he / she will not be considered as eligible for admission.

ILI CAT Admit Card

The applicant who submitted the ILI LLM application form offline by Registered Post / Speed Post / Courier / Messenger are to attached duly filled in Admit Card ( in duplicate ), as annexed to this Prospectus, on affixing his / her self attested passport size photograph in the space provided. ILI LLM Admit Card and Roll No. for the All India Admission Test will be issued to the candidates at the time of submission of Application Form in person and in other cases the Admit Card will be sent by post or by email. In case of not receiving the admit card, the candidate may contact on given phone numbers for further assistance. The Institute will not be responsible in any way for any loss, damage or delay in transit of the ILI LLM Admit Card.

The applicant who submitted the ILI LLM application form online, can download their admit card on login to the portal ( www.ilidelhiadmission.in ) by using the login credentials. The date for downloading the ILI LLM admit card will be published on institute website www.ili.ac.in or www.ilidelhiadmission.in. The candidates are advised to view the institute website regularly. The Admit Card and Roll No. for the All India Admission Test will also be sent through e mail. In case of not receiving the admit card, the candidate may contact on given phone numbers for further assistance. The Institute will not be responsible in any way for any loss, damage or delay in transit of the ILI LLM Admit Card.

The Admit Card is required to be retained by the candidate till the admissions are finalized. However, if the ILI LLM Admit Card is lost by the candidate, duplicate ILI LLM Admit Card will be issued by the Institute with the approval of the Competent Authority on payment of ₹ 100/- ( Rupees One hundred ) only. Duplicate ILI LLM Admit Card will not be issued after the All India Common Admission Test.
