IMU proposed to open up the seats in the programme of Indian Maritime University
LLM in Maritime Law – Chennai
Candidates who have passed the following Common Entrance Test :
Common Law Admission Test ( CLAT ) – 2021

IMU CET 2021 LLM Eligibility

Candidates who have a valid test score in the above CET conducted for the year 2021 and who have aggregate of 50% marks in Undergraduate Degree ( 45% for SC / ST candidates ) are eligible to the above LLM programmes.

Indian Maritime University invites application for admission to 2 year LLM ( Maritime Law ) Program in IMU Campuses and affiliated institutions for the academic year 2021.

Duration : The program of 2 years comprises of 4 semesters.

IMU CET 2021 Law Entrance Exam Date

IMU CET 2021 LLM Exam Date : 1st week of June, 2021. 

IMU CET 2021 LLM Eligibility

  • The candidates must be LLB / BL from a recognized University. A Bachelors degree in Law from any university in India approved by UGC with minimum 50% marks ( 45% marks in case of SC / ST ).

IMU CET 2021 LLM Question Pattern

The Syllabi for the CETs for LLM ( Maritime Laws ) will be as follows :

  • English
  • General Knowledge
  • Aptitude
  • General Laws

The questions will be of multiple choice type.

Candidates who are shortlisted based on CET scores will be called for Counselling at designated IMU Campus( es ) and will involve verification of original mark sheets and certificates, physical fitness clearance, and allotment of seats in the IMU Campuses or Affiliated Institutes.
IMU CET 2021 Reservation of Seats

  • 15% of the total seats available to Indian Nationals are reserved for eligible candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, 7.5% for Scheduled Tribe and 27% Seats are reserved for OBC candidates belonging to non-creamy layer ( NCL ).
  • A total of 3% of the seats is reserved for DA candidates. For applicants belonging to SC / ST, a relaxation of 5% of the aggregate will be considered.
